Terms And Conditions

Starter terms for inquiries, bookings, project content, approvals, and digital wedding website delivery with Something Blue.

Last updated: July 2, 2026

Acceptance Of Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply when you use the Something Blue website, make an inquiry, accept a quote, book a service, or work with us on digital wedding invitations or a custom wedding website.

By continuing with an inquiry or project, you agree to these terms together with any written quote, invoice, proposal, or project agreement provided by Something Blue.

Services

Something Blue creates digital wedding invitations, custom wedding websites, and related digital experiences for weddings and events. The exact inclusions, features, timing, and deliverables for your project will be set out in your quote or project correspondence.

Examples may include design, copy placement, RSVP setup, guest information pages, photo or video sections, schedule details, travel information, and other agreed digital features.

Quotes, Bookings, Payments And Timelines

Quotes are based on the information available at the time they are prepared. If your requirements change, additional fees or timeline adjustments may apply.

A booking may require written acceptance, deposit, full payment, or other confirmation stated in your quote or invoice. Project timelines begin once all required information, content, approvals, and payments have been received.

Delivery estimates are provided in good faith. Delays in client feedback, missing content, late payment, third-party issues, or changes to scope may affect delivery dates.

Client Content, Permissions And Approvals

You are responsible for providing accurate project details, names, dates, venue information, guest details, images, videos, copy, music, links, and any other materials needed for the project.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for Something Blue to use the content you provide. This includes permission from photographers, videographers, musicians, guests, venues, and anyone else whose rights or privacy may be affected.

You are responsible for reviewing proofs, links, forms, RSVP settings, wording, spelling, dates, and all guest-facing details before approving or sharing a digital invitation or wedding website.

Revisions And Changes

Your quote or project correspondence should state what revisions are included. Additional revisions, new features, major copy changes, layout changes, or changes requested after approval may be quoted separately.

Something Blue will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes, but availability and timing may depend on the project schedule and the size of the request.

Cancellations And Refunds

Cancellation and refund terms should be confirmed in the quote, invoice, or project agreement for each booking. Because digital design work often begins before final delivery, fees may be non-refundable once work has started.

If Something Blue is unable to complete a confirmed project for reasons within our control, we will discuss a fair resolution based on the work completed, payments made, and services still outstanding.

Intellectual Property And Usage Rights

You retain ownership of the content you provide, such as your photos, videos, names, wording, and event information, subject to any rights held by third parties.

Something Blue retains ownership of its original designs, templates, layouts, code, creative concepts, processes, and other materials unless a written agreement says otherwise.

Once final payment has been received, you may use the completed digital invitation or wedding website for your personal wedding or event purposes. You may not resell, copy, reproduce, or adapt Something Blue designs, templates, code, or project files for another event or business use without written permission.

Third-Party Services

Projects may rely on third-party tools or providers for hosting, domains, forms, email, payments, media storage, analytics, maps, or other functionality. Their own terms, privacy policies, availability, and limitations may apply.

Something Blue is not responsible for outages, policy changes, pricing changes, data loss, or service interruptions caused by third-party providers, but we will make reasonable efforts to help address issues that affect your project.

Website Accuracy And Availability

We aim to keep the Something Blue website accurate and available, but content may change without notice and the website may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.

Information on this website is general in nature. Specific project inclusions, prices, and timelines should be confirmed in writing before booking.

Limitation Of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Something Blue is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including lost bookings, lost data, lost profits, or disruption caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to the resupply of services or the amount paid for the affected services, as permitted by law.

Privacy

Personal information is handled according to the Something Blue Privacy Policy. You can read it at /privacy/.
